Response Headline: Nature Conservancy to restore two heavily logged sites in Haida Gwaii
Why are we cutting down trees?! Haven't we caused enough trouble to the environment already?! We need these tree to absorb the carbon dioxide that is being produced by human activities. Without them, climate change will make the earth warmer at a faster rate. Plus, cutting trees will cause the trees to release carbon dioxide since the trees are always in the process of changing the carbon dioxide into oxygen. This means we are helping climate change to move even faster.

Chrono Photography
This image was photoshopped. In order to get this effect you need pictures of a subject running through a camera. As they are running take as many photos as possible during the duration of time of the subject running though the camera frame. Then take your photos in to photoshop. https://bouletbrit.weebly.com/10-term-3-assignments.html You can go to this website to make your own "Chrono Shot".

Staging A Photo
This image shows "jealousy". The object is facing away from the sun casting a shadow on the ground and the background is blurry showing jealousy in this photo.
This image shows "fear". The background is blurry including a very blurry subject behind the main subject. It makes the object feel like it is being chased or ambushed.
This photo shows "serenity". The subject has the high ground while the sun is shining on it. Including flowers to make it feel and look calm.
This image shows "panic". No one likes to be run over by a car, or anything bigger than you.
This image shows "happiness". Being able to stand tall and proud while looking at the sun would make anyone feel great.
Hybrid on the Drive: Combing New and Old
This image is combined with an old image and a new image of this place. It was a very difficult assignment for me, but I put a lot of effort in this. It may not look good but I feel proud for getting something done.

This is my final assignment for term 3. I am satisfied with my photos for this assignment. I gained a lot of skills this year for taking pictures from Ms.Boulet. It was a pleasure to have her as a photography teacher. How does my work resonate with the artist I have chosen you may wonder? My photos resonates with the artist because he plays around with colours in photography. That's what I did too. I experimented with random objects that I could possibly find in a classroom. The objects had to be colourful of course. I think that me experimenting with the pencil crayons was a great idea. I ended up getting great results with the pencils crayons. Who knew something so basic and plain can turn out so beautiful and satisfying to look at just in different angles. Again, thank you to Ms.Boulet for teaching me sets of skills for photography and a mindset of a great artist. Have a great Summer break and hope to see you next year at Britannia Ms.Boulet.
